IT’S SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL SEASON
Downtown Little League season is officially open, and the Tribeca Citizen Gators (softball minors division) are ready. Can’t beat that for a sign of spring. More info on sponsoring here.

THE GRAND BANKS, UNWRAPPED
Thanks to M. and C. who sent photos of the Grand Banks unwrapped for spring. Opening day is April 21, or so it looks on the reservation schedule.

SPRING IN BLOOMS
You know my favorite pastime is perusing the prints and magazine covers at Philip Williams, where they featured a few spring themes recently.

ARBOR DAY AND MORE IN CITY HALL PARK
Friends of City Hall Park will host an Arbor Day event on Friday, April 25, from dawn to dusk, with a walking tours, tree rubbings and a Civic Celebration at 4p, with remarks from Lenape Center executive director Joe Baker, councilmembers Shekar Krishnan (Parks Committee chair) and Chris Marte (District 1), Parks Department Manhattan Commissioner Tricia Shimamura and others.
