BANKSY AT THE WINTER GARDEN
A 6 x 9-foot, 7500-pound chunk of wall tagged by Banksy in Red Hook is on display at the Winter Garden through May 21. This unique, large-scale work by the famed British graffiti artist Banksy will be up for auction at Guernsey’s on May 21 in the Winter Garden, with proceeds supporting the American Heart Association. Created in 2013 on the wall of a warehouse in Brooklyn owned by Vassilios Georgiadis, Banksy‘s work, “Battle to Survive a Broken Heart,” features a red heart-shaped balloon covered in bandages.
