VITRA SHOWROOM COMING TO CHINATOWN
The Swiss furniture manufacturer Vitra has built out a new showroom on the third floor of 46 Bowery just south of Canal in Chinatown, the former Jing Fong space. It will open to the public on May 14. With a bit of a detour, this adds to the Tribeca Design District nicely. The company has been incorporated in the United States since 1984 and had a presence in the city for 40 years.
