A new restaurant and outdoor rooftop has opened atop the Club Quarters Hotel just south of the elevated Liberty Park and overlooking the World Trade Center: One40 Rooftop. It’s a unique spot — I can’t think of another that has this view. I have yet to go over, so consider this a sneak peek until I make it for at least a drink soon.

The restaurant is largely indoors, but the outdoor south terrace is open as of May 1, and the north terrace is enclosed but overlooks the memorial through floor-to-ceiling glass panes.

And since it is the restaurant for the hotel, it is open for breakfast daily from 7:30 to 11:30. Also kind of unique these days…

The restaurant is owned by Mona Panjwani, who opened Lokal Eatery & Bar on the waterfront in Jersey City six years ago.
