The Downtown Alliance will host its annual Dine Around Downtown festival — similar to Taste of Tribeca — on Wednesday, June 11, from 11a to 2:30p at Fosun Plaza, 28 Liberty.

The event will have bites from 48 Tribeca and Fidi restuarnts, including Crown Shy, Benares, Boss Tweeds, Cafe Jalu — the new restaurant in the Printemps department store — The Fulton and the Tin Building. (See the full list below.)

The event is also priced differently than Taste: the menu items from each restaurant ranging from $5 to $10 and payment is done in cash (!). They have ATMs on the plaza.

This is the 22nd edition of the festival — it was founded in 1997 with some years off for covid etc. James Beard award-winning chef and author Rocco DiSpirito is the event’s host; he also hosts the virtual “Cooking at Home” series, where he works with local chefs to demonstrate their favorite dishes.
