Seen & Heard: Meadow Lane gets a paint job

MEADOW LANE GETS A PAINT JOB
Meadow Lane, the prepared food and flower market coming to the Greenwich and Harrison corner, got a spiffy paint job outside (it used to be grey). Opening date is still TBD: they are waiting on the FDNY to inspect the ventilation system, plus inspections from DOB and ConEd. Construction should be completed by Friday.

PAR BAKED BAGELS FROM ZUCKER’S
I spotted Marc Forgione pitching Zucker’s par baked frozen bagels on IG — turns out you can order them online or buy them at Fresh Direct, Goldbelly and ShopRite. They come in plain, sesame and everything, partially baked in the city. They then get baked in the oven, toaster oven or air fryer for 10 minutes.

FOOD TRUCK ON N. MOORE
Not sure if this is a permanent set up? But it looks like a halal truck called Moe Eats is setting up on the N. Moore and Greenwich corner. (The truck says Bizzy Burger, but the menu says Moe…) A closeup on the menu offers breakfast all day, bowls, Philly cheesesteaks, etc. A BEC is $8; a chopped cheese is $11.

  1. BEC at a Halal truck? I think this needs more research. I’ll head over soon!
