Well, not secret anymore. Still, it’s hidden — with clues if you know where to look.

The new bar that took the Ward III space on Reade and West Broadway, Little More, just finished construction on a basement room that is available for private parties. It will also open on Wednesdays only from 7p to 1p, starting soon. (You need to make a reservation in advance by emailing info@littlemorenyc.com — there is a two-drink minimum.) And it’s super cool.

The space is small — 40 people max, but 20 would be a lot of fun — and special. Owner Aron Watman has created a bookshelf as a door with the snake’s tail pointing the way from upstairs, leather banquettes, leather stools, good lighting. There will be seasonal cocktails created by bartenders from Attaboy and other hotspots. He’s even minted a coin that he can pass out to guests upstairs as collateral for a drink in the speakeasy.
