HOW WE VOTED
Michael Lange, the researcher, strategist, political organizer, and author of the newsletter “The Narrative Wars” on Substack, was on WNYC and the Brian Lehrer show discussing the elections when a caller asked him to analyze the results of the mayoral primary race in District 1. He said he wasn’t surprised that Cuomo won in Tribeca, nor that Mamdani won in a younger demographic in Fidi; the notable thing he said was the fact that Cuomo won by so little. “It’s the worst 36 percent I’ve ever seen,” he said.
