TRIBECA PAC’S FALL SEASON IS OPEN
BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center, the longest-operating performance venue in Lower Manhattan, has announced its offerings for 2025-2026. proudly announces its 2025–2026 season, spanning music, theater, dance, family programming and community-based events. This year’s Classic Albums Live performance will be “Queen: News of the World” on Friday, September 19. There’s also an adaptaion of “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!”; Cirque-Tacular’s Spooktacular for Halloween; the family band Hot Peas ‘N Butter, known for their appearances on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr.; spring break acting camp for young kids; the Writers in Performance workshop series for students and professionals. CHAMBERS IS ON SUMMER SCHEDULE
Chambers, the restaurant on Chambers Street, is running on its summer schedule through Labor Day: open for dinner service Monday to Friday.

TRIBECA VETERINARY WELLNESS IS NOW IVY PETS
Not sure I did this update: Tribeca Veterinary Wellness on West Street and Laight is now Ivy Pets and Dr. Alex Pietrzyk is now a part of the Ivy Pet team. They have a new website and phone: 212-732-7474.

INFO SESSION ON INJURED BIRDS
Battery Park City Authority will host a free virtual information session to learn what to do if you encounter an injured bird on July 16, 6:30p. The session will cover how to assess if an animal needs help, safe handling tips if intervention is necessary, and where to bring injured wildlife for professional rehabilitation.

  1. The Wild Bird Fund on Upper West Side is a great place that will take care of found injured birds. I have brought injured birds there several times. I believe the place is staffed by veterinary student volunteers.
