Thanks to H., who gave me a heads up, I popped into La Réserve Aesthetics Med Spa + Wellness on Duane Park, in the former gallery space just next to Duane Park Patisserie.

Owner Shamsha Lakhani was still unpacking boxes and equipment, but she was able to give me a tour of the space, which is much larger than it looks from the front. There are six treatment rooms upstairs, a cold plunge, an infrared sauna, a hyperbaric chamber, a red light therapy bed, and another treatment room downstairs. They will have the usual medspa treatments: fillers, Botox, IVs, etc and will start with a staff of two to three.

Shamsha has been in the aesthetics business for 15 years and worked with her now partner, Amir Rostamirad, from 2017 until 2022. He has had several medical aesthetics spas, and in this space they are trying to combine that with wellness therapies and treatments so everything is on one spot.

“I’m grateful to be back in the industry,” Shamsha said. “It’s my passion.”

They were hoping for a soft open this week.
