SUMMER STREETS THREE SATURDAYS IN AUGUST
The city will close down miles of Lafayette Street and Park Avenue for its annual Summer Streets event for three Saturdays in August: August 2, 9 and 16, from 7a to 3p. It then heads up Park Avenue to 110th, goes across the top of the park to Broadway, and then ends at Dyckman Street. See the interactive map here. Along the way there are cultural programs, performances, fitness classes, interactive art and giveaways, as well as rest stops. The event is rain or shine. There are free Citi Bike day passes available with promo code LYFTSUMMER25 on the Citi Bike App.
