Fidi’s first legal cannabis dispensary — LeFlora Cannabis — just soft opened at 111 Fulton, in the old Bareburger space with an entrance on Ann and William. Thanks to Fidi resident Lynda Lippin who sent a note — she is also teaching a Pilates pop-up in the space on September 7 at 2p. (More on her bsuiness, Puff Puff Pilates, later.)
I don’t see any record of this store going through Community Board 1’s approval process — maybe it had another name or another address — but they are listed on the state’s list of legal dispensaries.
They sell pre-rolled joints, tinctures, drinks, edibles and just straight-up weed; brands include Camino, Dank, Rove, Rolling Green and Wyld.
Like all dispensaries, they still cannot take credit cards, but they accept debit cards (processed via secure cashless ATM system) and cash (ATMs available on-site).

It was reviewed and listed under a different address when presented to CB1. This address actually makes it’s illegal because of its proximity to a school (CB1 highlighted this to OCM). This is part of the approvals that OCM have admitted to getting wrong (too close to a school), but unwilling to correct.
That explains it…
Right by a school, Pace University, ACS, medical offices, the hospital.
There is a cannabis store at White and Broadway.
I realize that not everyone here has been to a licensed dispensary. You can’t even enter the store without scanning a state or city issued ID. Owner Gilbert Rojas is lovely, and wants to include community in all events.
Between the Homeless Men’s shelters and cannabis stores. Fulton is shady and disgusting. businesses have to ring you in to enter. So sad. Need to clean up this area asap
There are a half dozen illegal cannabis stores in a two block radius to this. I’m not sure this is the business the neighborhood needs to improve. Not surprising to see it’s probably in an illegal location with proximity to school, and the paperwork is shady. I agree with the other commenter about the general state of Fulton, after living in that area for four years I moved to BPC. Much better.
Also, if you want cannabis downtown go to Alto on Chambers. A wonderful family-run enterprise in a proper location.
BTW already major traffic debacle as beleaguered delivery driver trying to deliver supplies to LeFlora blocked an ambulance and backed up traffic on William.
The street is already narrow and complicated due to medical offices, school, Pace, hospital, ACS etc.
(Also 2 special ed schools on Ann Street with school buses transporting students)
And more luxury high-rises nearby generating ecommerce and Uber.
Idiotic to situate there.

We express our gratitude for allowing LeFlora to contribute to the value of the Historic New York Financial District. Our dedication is to provide exceptional service and support.
Respectfully,
Following up on my other comment – as Fulton, WIlliam and Ann are narrow streets, when LeFlora is getting deliveries, LeFlora store staff should assist the delivery driver so that the delivery truck driver is not stuck and traffic (especially emergency vehicles and patient vehicles) is not backed up.
