Think of this as a PSA for next year since I had no idea this was going to happen: The Citizens Bank on West Broadway and Reade was the one-day-only ticket pickup location for Shakespeare in the Park — running through Sunday with “Twelfth Night.” It won’t happen again this year, though there are other Citizens Bank pickup locations around the city as part of a new program.
Thanks to Sonia Stock and H. for the shots and the heads up.
Tickets are still only available day-of unless you donate $300 a year as a Troy Supporter Plus.
Otherwise you can wait in line in-person in Central Park at the Delacorte Theater at noon; try an in-person lottery at The Public Theater with sign-up beginning at 11a, and the lottery drawn at noon; or try a digital Lottery with TodayTix. There’s also an in-person standby line in Central Park at the theater that begins at 6p, with tickets handed out as available until the performance begins.
