For old times’ sake, both Sonia Stock and D. sent me this image. I know it’s supposed to be funny, but the point is so obvious that even the AI got it. This is what I learned when I tried to see if Google Lens could identify and artist or humorist:
The implicit message being conveyed by the repeated gift of flasks is that the gift-givers perceive the recipient as someone who frequently drinks or enjoys alcoholic beverages.
So, duh. I mean, you wouldn’t give a flask to someone who *doesn’t* drink.
And so…where is it?
Based on that fence, I am going to say the east side of West Broadway between Warren & Murry Streets.
