The Tox, a chain of massage studios with locations all over the country, including four others in Manhattan, has opened at 11 Harrison, at one time the Orior furniture store but now completely transformed to black and white.

The company’s massage techniques are designed to increase metabolic rates, release excess toxins and flush out excess water retention, according to the website. A 60-minute “Master Tox” session costs $239.

The Tox was founded in Los Angeles in 2019 by Courtney Yeager, who is still the CEO; the company is now franchised.

They also have tons of products — they may make their way onto the TC Shop-Local Gift Guide — including collagen pills, lymphatic tea, caffeinated face masks, beef talow lip balm, and mouth tape — designed to encourage nasal breathing while you sleep.
