TRIBECA TOWN HALL MEETING ON OCT. 16
The Community First Development Coalition, which was founded in reaction to the tower proposed for Independence Plaza, will host a Tribeca Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, October 16, 6 to 8p, at 87 Lafayette on the corner of White in the DCTV building. The event will include presentations from CFDC experts in affordable housing, community organization, historical preservation and NYC zoning; guest speaker Councilmember Christopher Marte; discussions on the proposed NYC charter revisions on the ballot in November; updates on the fight against the IPN tower; and highlights from the group’s pre-publication research paper on housing affordability.
