Smile House, which took a space on the south side of Warren next to Korin in July 2024, is now open for patients. The practice was founded by Dr. Jonathan B. Levine, whose approach for this facility (there is another location uptown) is combining advanced diagnostics with functional dentistry and with what he calls “hospitality-inspired care.”
The practice offers dentistry, pediatric dentistry, orthodontics, aligners and oral surgery, among other treatments, and there’s also jaw and mouth massage, teeth whitening, guided breathwork, weighted blankets, microbiome-friendly refreshments and a 500-square-foot outdoor space in the courtyard.
Levine, who has been practicing for 35 years, has his own trademarked whitening system, called GLO Science, among other patents. He often contributes to media stories on dental care, and even partnered with Lenny Kravitz, who had a wellness brand at one time.
(Funny observation segment: I took my 88yo mother to the dentist on Long Island yesterday, and what a contrast. The practice is in an old house, the way medical practices always were back in the day, and it’s a father/son operation. I would say the waiting room has not changed since 1982, save for some occasional paint.)
