Blank Street Coffee taking storefront at 32 Avenue of the Americas

This could really liven up the streetscape near Canal: Blank Street Coffee has taken 2900 square feet of the ground floor at 32 Avenue of the Americas, the landmark Deco building between Walker, Lispenard and Church. (The one on Church and Murray opened in 2022.)

They are aiming for a second quarter 2026 opening at the corner of Walker.

Launched in 2020 as a coffee cart in Brooklyn, Blank Street is known for its specialty coffees and matcha beverages. In fact this one will be Blank Street Coffee & Matcha Shop.

The 1.2 million-square-foot building, which is only about 60 percent occupied, recently got an extension on its loans.
