SINGALONG IN BOGARDUS PLAZA
Bogardus Plaza will host a holiday singalong on December 3 at 4:30p, with Cosma’s Children and Adult Chorus. There will also be hot chocolate and a toy drive — bring a new, unwrapped toy for kids 10 and under in for a collection by ARC Athletics on Staple Street.
REMEMBERING A LOCAL ARTIST
Joshua Charow does this amazing video interviews with city artists who have been here since Year One. This one captures Nina Klymowska, who died this summer. Nina was born in Lviv, Ukraine, immigrated to the United States in 1951 and graduated from the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1963. Her paintings were acquired by the Ukrainian Museum and Library in Stamford, Connecticut, which is planning an exhibition of her work in 2026. For inquiries regarding her paintings, contact the curator at lubow.wolynetz@gmail.com.
THE WESTSIDE EXPANDS TO MEN
The Westside is now carrying men’s clothes, located for now in the back of the store on Greenwich.
ZADIG & VOLTAIRE IS NOW AN OUTLET
Another discovery from making the rounds for the Shop-Local Gift Guide: the Zadig & Voltaire shop on Sixth is now an “Archive Store,” aka outlet, carrying discontinued items, most of which are not even for sale online, and all at a steep discount.
