The National Weather Service reported 2.7 inches of snow in Central Park from the storm on Sunday — their records go back to 1870, when the city got a total of 28 inches over the course of the season. And even back then the numbers were all over the place, ranging from 8 inches one year to 58 another. And it goes on like that for decades, until 2020 when we got 5 inches.
