December 15, 2025 Restaurant/Bar News
Maman Tribeca just finished a several-month’s renovation that now includes a bigger pastry counter, expanded seating and a Maman-themed gift shop. And the chain has also added a new store in Fidi on Broadway and Rector on December 11.
The restaurant and bakery was opened here in 2015 by then-Tribecans (and husband and wife team) Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte. They added Paper Source to the front of the house in 2018 but now that business is gone, and Maman has the whole space to itself. The back of the space is still the more formal table service restaurant. And it’s all got the same Maman vibe — that Provencal shabby chic that works great in a classic Tribeca loft space.
The new Fidi location has a full espresso and tea bar, fresh pastries and savory dishes, all-day seating, and catering and corporate ordering options. (See those photos below.)
That makes 25 locations in the city plus several in DC, a couple in Connecticut, one in Philly and Princeton and founder Elisa Marshall’s hometown of Montreal. The first location opened in Soho in 2014; ours opened the following year.
Hours in Tribeca and Fidi
Monday to Friday, 7:30a to 6p
Saturday and Sunday, 8a to 6p (kitchen until 4p)
