CONSTRUCTION KICK-OFF MEETING FOR THE JAIL
The city will host a Construction Kick-off Virtual Meeting for the Manhattan Borough-Based Jail on White Street on Thursday, January 22, 5:30 to 6:45p. Representatives from the NYC Department of Design and Construction, Mayor’s Office of Criminal Justice, Department of Correction and the project’s design-build team will present the construction methodology, schedule and address questions from the community. “Janz in the Moment,” a film about longtime Tribecan Robert Janz, who made art all around the streets of the neighborhood, will be available for streaming on January 3 at kinema.com on a sliding scale. If you purchase a ticket at a higher rate, the money will go directly to publicity and outreach for the film.
