FIELD TRIP: THE OLD CITY HALL STATION
The *old* City Hall station, completed in 1904 and decommissioned in 1945, can only be visited by getting tickets from the New York Transit Museum. Mamdani was sworn in there at midnight on New Year’s Eve.

CHAMBERS STREET J/Z STATION TO GET MAKEOVER
Renovations will make historically sensitive repairs, replace the stairs, install new artwork, and construct new track walls. The station is on the national list of historic places.

BOOMERANG TOYS HAS CLOSED
This is a real loss for the neighborhood: the toy store has been on West Broadway for 24 years.
