Sandwich shop coming to Church and Duane

The former deli (Arpita) at 179 Church between Duane and Reade will soon be the home of Nomad Sandwiches, which is relocating from its current spot in Hudson Square. This is great news for that stretch of Church.

They are aiming to open on February 1.

The menu includes paninis and sandwiches, many with global flavors and ingredients. A Cuban chicken is $14; steak and guac is $22.

“Our promise is, NOTHING FROZEN, NO PRESERVATIVES and sourcing everything locally from some of the most reputed vendors we can find (Balthazaar, Joes dairy to name a few),” the website says. “Fresh ingredients made to order. We believe in delivering flavor and quality at an affordable price.”

More TK when they open.
