Seen & Heard: Flowers in the courtyard of the Four Seasons

FLOWERS IN THE COURTYARD OF THE FOUR SEASONS
I didn’t realize until I got a beautiful bouquet from my sister-in-law for my birthday (it was several days old when I took this picture, hence the growing tulips) that there was a florist in the courtyard of the Four Seasons Hotel, between Barclay and Park Place. I will stop by soon, but in the meantime, Amaranth Floral Atelier is open Monday to Friday, 9a to 5p, and Saturday, 10a to 4p.

FASHION SQUAD OPENS ON THE UPPER EAST SIDE
The Fashion Squad School, founded in 2020 by Tribeca Layana Aguilar, opened an Upper East Side location on January 5 at 1656 Third Avenue at 95th Street. Enrollment is open now, if you happen to be in that part of town. “I looked for the right place for about two years and finally found it,” Layana said. “It is right across the street from the Craft Studio UES!”

ART FOR CONSTRUCTION FENCES
The Downtown Alliance partnered with ArtBridge, a public arts nonprofit, to add murals to construction fencing across Downtown. For this first one, award-winning artist Eirini Linardaki designed pieces that span all four sides of 77 Water Street (at Old Slip), a 26-story building currently undergoing a 647-unit office-to-residential conversion by Vanbarton Group.

LADUREE IN THE WINTER GARDEN
Ladurée, makers of the famous macaron, is launching a specialty cart at Brookfield Place. They will also offer the Eugénie, a chocolate-coated, crunchy biscuit, a curated selection of fine teas, and finely crafted merchandise. The cart is located in the Winter Garden on Level 2 just outside of Hudson Eats. Monday through Saturday from 10a to 9p and Sunday from noon to 6p.
