Seen & Heard: PopUp Bagels will open February 6

POPUP BAGELS WILL OPEN ON FEBRUARY 6
Wow, they really had to work for this one. PopUp Bagels, which took the corner spot on Greenwich and Reade, will open on Friday, February 6, at 8a. The Union Square location, their eighth in the city, opened earlier this month, and they have recent openings in California, North Carolina, Maine, Florida, Connecticut and Massachusetts. More soon!

INPUT SOUGHT FOR CITY HALL PARK PLAZA
The City Hall Park Conservancy has launched a survey to collect data on pedestrian usage of the plaza between City Hall and the Brooklyn Bridge. It asks questions about the vendors on the plaza as well as congestion, bike paths and flow. It takes 4 minutes to complete. Find it here.

ISSEY MIYAKE TEMPORARY STORE
Issey Miyake left its Tribeca flagship for Madison Avenue, but in the meantime the brand has a temporary store on N. Moore between Hudson and Varick.

  1. In related bagel news, Nala on Reade shut down (I just walked by) and Modern Bread still hasn’t opened. I wonder if the PopUp line is gonna be like Meadow Lane?!
