HOUSEMAN WILL OPEN A SECOND RESTAURANT
Caught on Instagram: Houseman is opening another restaurant called Zoli, opening in early March in East Williamsburg. It’s called Zoli, and so far we know it is upstairs at 312 Maujer Street and has three really big fish tanks. While the work wraps up, they are hosting some family-style dinners to warm up, with a variety of chefs. Email ned@housemanrestaurant.com for more info and to make a reservation.

LINES AT POPUP
PopUp Bagels opened officially on Friday — with a DJ — and they were giving away chicken sandwiches for the occasion. It drew lines, of course, which lasted much of the day. Thanks to M. and L. for the photos! “It’s buzzing!” M. said.

CHINATOWN YMCA LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
The YMCA of Greater New York’s Chinatown YMCA will host its annual free Lunar New Year Celebration on Saturday, February 7, from 10a to 1p. The free, family-friendly community event will feature a traditional Lion Dance performance at 11:30a, as well as games, arts and crafts for all ages, raffle prizes, light refreshments, and more. RSVP is encouraged.
