The novel “weaves together a true story of miraculous survival, a murder mystery, an operatic family drama, and undying romance.” The reading includes clips from his documentary film “So Many Miracles,” in which Saul took his parents back to Poland in 1986 to have a reunion with the Polish farmers that had hidden them for two and a half years during the Holocaust.
