CHAMBERS STREET SUBWAY STAIR CLOSED
The southwest stair for the 1/2/3 at Chambers is closed while they do some work on the facade for the new Wells Fargo branch there. Hopefully that shed does not last as long as the one at Citi’s branch just up the street…

This is not an endorsement, but written with some admiration: N. sent the photo above, with this note: “Skateboarders at new Wagner are jacking it up. Even filling in the grout for a smoother a ride. In the skaters defense, why did the park have a design basically asking for skateboarders?”

ANOTHER STORE CLOSES AT BROOKFIELD
N. spotted another closure at Brookfield: Adam Lippes, the luxury women’s designer, closed his shop at the mall. He still has a boutique uptown.

EMILIA GEORGE IN WESTCHESTER
Emilia George has opened a store at the Westchester Mall. Founder Elle Wang incubated her brand out of her home on Broadway in 2021 and then opened the first store here on Greenwich in 2022. She now has four locations.
