FIFTH ANNUAL DOG SHOW AT BOGARDUS
Bogardus Plaza will be hosting its fifth annual dog show on May 3 at 3p. Categories include Remarkable Rescue, Precious Puppy, Senior Superstar, Expressive Eyes, Mini Marvel, Super sized Sweetheart, Mixed Masterpiece, Tribeca Trendsetter and Best Trick. Entry fee is $20 per category and advance registration is required. More here.

JOHANNA CALLE AT BIENVENU STEINBERG & C
Bienvenu Steinberg & C at 35 Walker has a show up of the work of the Colombian artist Johanna Calle featuring paintings made with nail polish on found chromogenic photographs. Calle lives and works in Bogotá and studied visual arts at Universidad de los Andes and received an MFA from Chelsea College of Art and Design, London. Her work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the MoMA, the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and Tate Modern, London.
