April 27, 2016 Restaurant/Bar News
The former Yuya Nail salon at Greenwich and Reade will become an outpost of Kung Fu Tea, a chain primarily known for bubble tea but also offering coffee drinks, slushes, and more. The franchisee, Ryan, said that this is his first restaurant and that he plans to also sell waffles, too. More when it opens, hopefully by mid-May.
From the Kung Fu Tea website:
With over a decade of experience, we are the unchallenged expert in the bubble tea business. From the ingredients for our products to the customer services of our stores, we keep a strict and uncompromisingly high standard, setting the bar for our competitors.
It is our dream to introduce the Kung Fu Tea brand to consumers all around the world, as well as creating a more refined bubble tea culture. For this reason, we are looking for business partners who might be interested in joining us.
Our corporate headquarter is currently located in New York. We have business ventures in Taiwan, Southeast Asia, China, as well as in North America. With your help, we hope to expand our market even further.
P.S. Hillary Clinton recently visited a Kung Fu Tea in Queens.

That’s a hilariously bad picture. She looks like it’s poisonous.
You just can’t win when someone hands you food or drink with one hand and holds a camera in the other. It’s mean to do this to public figures because no matter how they react, or worse look, when they take that bite will be scrutinized negatively. Even professional models, professionally photographed look weird eating.
Isn’t everything she touches poisonous?
I have a lot of respect for her. She’s had an amazing career in public service, and I very much look forward to her being president.
Ditto! Hillary 2016/2020
