••• Real estate website are always releasing “reports” about the most expensive and/or desirable neighborhoods, and I don’t cover them because (a) there are so many, (b) they’re just PR bait, and (c) I have doubts about the methodology. But I thought Gawker writer Hamilton Nolan’s post about Tribeca being called the city’s “best neighborhood to live in” by something called Niche was notable for its inaccuracy (well, not about the wind).

But the location was changed to San Francisco further into production, which meant the name had to be tweaked as well.”
