••• Whole Foods Tribeca‘s new coffee bar has opened. It’s at the West Street exit, across from the elevator. I hadn’t realized it was at the expense of the upstairs one. Apparently a new concept will be coming to the upstairs…. Meanwhile, there’s still seating up there.
••• Yorganic hopes to open its Greenwich Street outpost (next to Kaffe 1668) in early January.
••• Today’s deal on InBundles: $6 now for $13 worth of Ruben’s Empanadas (though it appears to only be for the Nassau Street location).
••• And today’s deal at Scoutmob is also for the Financial District—a Swedish café on Pearl called Fika. Get 50% off; max deal $13.
••• 8.15 August Fifteenth—the tiny fashion boutique in the basement of 184 Franklin—is having a sale, starting tomorrow (Friday). There are more men’s styles, says founder Kazushi Ota. He sent some photos, too. I like it….
