OLIGHTING
• A gun lamp designed by Philippe Starck for Flos ($948, also in silver). I don’t think the trigger is the on/off switch, but it should be.

KARKULA
• The aptly named Float Chair—it’s very comfortable—by Francesco Rota and Paola Lenti (from $2,710).
• Qlocktwo by German designers Biegert & Funk (from $1,190). Available in five colors and 14 languages.
• One-of-a-kind ceramics by Maggie Wells ($70–$90).

TRANS.LUXE
• Lamp sweater by Kim Tyler (custom-designed, so prices vary). What? You think your lamps don’t get chilly?
• Tom Bussbaum’s “Bee Woman” sculpture ($2,200).
• A hard-to-photograph tabletop mobile by Liza Cousins; she brought it in while I was there, so it hadn’t been priced yet.

DONZELLA
• Gold-plated cocktail pitcher, circa 1950s ($450). Reflection of me not included.

LIDDABIT SWEETS / McCLURE’S PICKLES
• The Liddabit Sweets/McClure’s Pickles pop-up shop will be back at 39 White on Dec. 18–19 (10 a.m. to 7 p.m.). I can vouch for these dark chocolate caramels, which were like the world’s best Tootsie Rolls.
• McClure’s briny Bloody Mary mix certainly solves the problem of what to do on Christmas Day.

STEVEN SCLAROFF
• I love poking around Steven Sclaroff’s shop: There’s something interesting for everyone. I was drawn to this orange vase ($75).
• …As well as to a mortar with a glass pestle ($125). Or maybe a pestle with a glass mortar?
