••• I went back to 10 Corso Como for dinner—having enjoyed lunch there—and it was good. The food is fairly simple Italian, but done well. And the outdoor seating is a treat, because you’re on a pedestrian-only street. I realized later that my initial post on 10 Corso Como didn’t include the menu, so here it is, along with a photo of the eggplant parmigiana appetizer. Click on it to enlarge.

••• The next Tribeca Meet & Greet—organized by BMCC Tribeca Performing Arts Center—is this coming Wednesday, October 17, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Common Point, the acupuncture clinic at 3 Jay. “If you have never attended a Tribeca Meet & Greet, now’s the time. We have been meeting in a different Tribeca restaurant or business about once a month.  We’ve been able to exchange some ideas, do some networking and have a drink with the neighbors. Some people show up for the full evening, some just drop by to say hello.”

••• According to the Downtown Alliance, “When it comes to breakfast, Seamore‘s catch-of-the-day is grab-and-go on weekdays from 7:30-11 a.m.” I think that means breakfast is only offered in the to-go area, and not in the dining room. “Options include coffee from La Colombe, drinks from Juice Press, and food from Black Seed Bagels and Just Baked.”

••• Next week at Brookfield Place: “Arts Brookfield presents three live performances of David Bowie’s ‘Berlin Trilogy’ of albums—1979’s Lodger, 1978’s Heroes, and 1977’s Low—at the Winter Garden. This year’s New Sounds Live performances include past and present members of Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, Shearwater, Dirty Projectors, Battle Trance, and the Wordless Music Orchestra. One album will be performed in its entirety each night—Lodger on the 17th, Heroes on the 18th, and Low on the 19th—and each concert will open with short programs of music that inspired the trilogy composed by Brian Eno and Klaus Schulze. Admission is free and open to the public; no tickets needed.” Below: “Boys Keep Swinging,” from Lodger.
