Thanks to Frank for the heads-up that Le Relais de Venise L’Entrecôte has closed its Soho outpost. The company, which specializes almost exclusively in steak frites, opened at Watts and Thompson—a tough spot by any measure—in April of 2017. Its restaurants in Midtown, London, Paris, and Mexico City remain open, and according to the sign posted in the window, the chain seeks to reopen elsewhere downtown.
