Update: Smithers wins again! (I had a feeling he would, but I wanted to flush him out to make sure he hadn’t moved to the ‘burbs….) I had never noticed the firefighting detailing on this building until I read about it on Ephemeral New York, which said it was built in 1912 as the FDNY’s High Pressure Services Headquarters.
