British photographer William Furniss will be showing his views of Tribeca at the AIPAD Photography Show at Pier 94, booth 1016, April 4 – 7. He says: “I am an urbanist. I am specifically interested in what makes neighbourhoods (sic) succeed. Tribeca has many great attributes, I particularly like its odd street layout, it bucks the typical sterile New York grid system and favours (sic again, darn Brits!) street names over numbers, two excellent characteristics in my opinion.” The whole project is done using old style contact sheets.
