••• I enjoy recaps of TV shows much more than TV shows themselves (and, um, I don’t have cable). Curbed‘s Joey Arak wrote a funny one about “Selling New York,” a real-estate show on HGTV. One segment involved Warburg’s lovely Deborah Lupard and 41 Murray (which I checked out back in March): “This is the type of space people first moved to Tribeca for, she tells us, with an open layout, original details and high ceilings. Of course those forgotten pioneers also moved to Tribeca because such spaces could be had for a pocket full of change and a quick handie near the docks, but times have changed.”

••• “After trading words, charges and lawsuits, and attaining star status in the annals of partnership breakups, the celebrity mixologist Albert Trummer and Heather Tierney, his principal partner in the haute bar Apothéke, have been ordered into mediation by a state judge. […] Mr. Trummer said he plans to open a new Tribeca lounge, the Theater Bar, as early as late January.” (New York Times)

••• “The distressed sale of the unsold apartments in William Beaver House, a 47-story condominium tower in the Financial District, has led a sharp drop in asking prices and refunds for unhappy would-be buyers. The new owner took control of 209 unsold units at the new condominium building on William Street last month, as it was in the midst of a foreclosure. The new owner, CIM Group, a California investment firm, has now filed an amendment to the offering plan cutting combined asking prices by $91.8 million, but indicated they might rent out some or all of the units instead.” (Wall Street Journal)
