I spent yesterday griping about another snowstorm, but what a lovely one it turned out to be! Amazing what a difference (the absence of) wind makes: Everything is frosted just so, forming delicate abstract patterns in spots—such as garbage cans—that we normally overlook. It’s a shame schools seem to be in session today, because this is snow to play in. (I did have to laugh this morning when, on Greenwich, I overheard a little girl say, “Daddy, when are we going to Florida?”
Beautiful photos…thank you

Gorgeous! Thanks for posting. That little girl is onto something, though : )
I come from Sydney, never grew up with snow, so it still has this miraculous beautiful quality to it. Just love these pix!
