••• RH Gallery is celebrating the opening of two shows, “Orange Sky” and “The Salon.” (Tuesday)

••• At 92YTribeca, it’s the battle of the cartoonists at “The Nib & Pick Society Presents… Fisticuffs!” Participating in this installment: Hilary Price (Rhymes with Orange), Eric Lewis (Animal Nuz, The New Yorker), Matt Diffee (The Rejection Collection, The New Yorker) and Drew Dernavich (The New Yorker), and it’s hosted by writer and comedian Patrick Borelli (Comedy Central, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” presumably not The New Yorker). ••• Directors Raphael Alvarez and Tatiana Issa will screen their 2009 documentary, DZI Croquettes, at 92YTribeca. If this photo is any indication, the dance/theater troupe of the title was fierce. (Wednesday)

••• Jessica Burkhart, author of the Canterwood Crest Series—which I’m guessing is a series of young-adult books but sure sounds like it’s related to a winery—will read from Unfriendly Competition (#12) at Barnes & Noble Tribeca. (Wednesday)

••• “A labyrinth walk is a symbolic pilgrimage, a cathartic act that leads to salvation, enlightenment or consolation,” say the folks at St. Paul’s Chapel, which opens its labyrinth on the third Thursday of each month “for walking, prayers, and meditation.” (Thursday)

••• The CB1 Quality of Life Committee will hear a presentation on miniature crime den payphone removal by Patrick Fergus of the DOITT. No clue what DOITT stands for but it’d be cool to say you work at DOITT. (Thursday)

••• Of course, there’s a bunch of interesting ongoing stuff, too—such as “Natural History,” the show of Charles Yoder‘s painting and prints at Jonathan Burden. The print below, “Blue Print Too” is from Yoder’s website; not sure if it’s in the show or not.
