PF CHANG TO GO COMING TO FIDI
The Commercial Observer reports that P.F. Chang is launching its new takeout model — the first in the city — in Fidi at 60 Fulton. The store will be 2000 square feet and named P.F. Chang’s To Go. The first one opened in Chicago earlier this year (photo above). The popular chain was started in the early ’90s in LA, and now has 210+ U.S. restaurants, including airport locations, plus over 95 restaurants in more than 25 countries across the globe.
SOHO HOUSE GETS INTO CO-WORKING
Vogue reports that Soho House is adding a co-working angle to its members-only clubs called Soho Works. The first Soho Works only space is opening this week in Brooklyn, at 55 Water St. in the same building as Dumbo House. You don’t have to be a member of Soho House to join.
SHOPPING FOR THE OUTDOORS
Forbes does an analysis of outdoor stores taking up brick and mortar spaces in Soho, including the Backcountry pop-up which closes on Feb. 23.
MISSING THE WAGYU SANDWICH?
Don Wagyu, which closed in Fidi in September, found a new home at Gotham West Market, one of the fancier food halls in the city, located in Hell’s Kitchen. –Eater
