WALKER’S SETS UP GOFUNDME
The Walker’s team is seeking support for its staff: “Corona/Covid-19 as we all know has shut down the bar and restaurant industry indefinitely. The service staff for many establishments depend solely on gratuities for their livelihoods. This will help support them in this time of need. The Walker’s team thanks you in advance!”
FUND FOR TINY’S AND ITS SISTERS AND BROTHERS
Neighborhood Projects has closed its five Tribeca restaurants — Tiny’s & The Bar Upstairs, Smith & Mills, Yves, Holy Ground and Warren 77 — and has created a GoFundMe page for its team members. You can find it here.
LIVE WELL COMPANY FUNDRAISER
The Live Well Company has also started a fund for its trainers and employees through GoFundMe. Find it here. “Even a small donation could help Anne Marie Imbornone reach their fundraising goal. And if you can’t make a donation, it would be great if you could share the fundraiser to help spread the word.”
SEAMORE’S FUNDRAISING FOR STAFF
Seamore’s has started a GoFundMe page for its staff, with the goal to raise $50k. “Like others in our community, we had to make the painful decision to lay-off over 150 Seamore’s team members at our six locations with an unknown rehire date. Despite great news from Washington, our staff still needs support. So we ask our family, friends, and neighbors to help some of the best New Yorkers out there – our Seamore’s family, during this crisis. A donation can really make a difference for a team-member on unemployment.”
BUBBY’S HAS STOPPED DELIVERIES
The restaurant has decided to protect its staff and will no longer deliver or offer takeout. Pancake mix is still available online.
