Seen & Heard: Happy Pride from the neighborhood

CELEBRATING PRIDE
A few spots in the neighborhood got their rainbow on, including One World Trade, Battery Park City (which painted its benches south of the North Cove Marina and added some color to the streetlamps on the esplanade) and the boarded up windows of Todd Snyder at the Liquor Store on White. (I also saw the biggest rat of my lifetime while taking this picture. But more on that later.) And those must have been Pride fireworks on the Hudson last night.

WELCOMING BACK MORE RETAIL…
A Uno Tribeca is back open, and the mannequins are once again dressed for success. Phew. (Giorgia will return in September.)

…AND MORE SEATS ON THE STREETS
Miriam added outdoor seating on West Broadway that looks like it is also for Jr. Sushi and the check cashing place — cash your check and relax for a bit on the street.
