TREATS FROM CROWN SHY’S PASTRY CHEF
Maybe one of the few good things to come out of COVID: Crown Shy is now offering a “Breakfast Box” assembled with treats by pastry chef Renata Ameni, which if you caught their brunch even, is definitely worth an order. There’s stuff like housemade yogurt, maple pecan donuts and housemade English muffins. You preorder and pick up Saturday mornings between 10 and noon.

WEEKEND OUTING FOR THE KIDS
South Street Seaport Museum will open the 1885 tall ship Wavertree to the public on Sept. 5, 6, 12, 19 and 26 with timed entry, from 11a to 5p at Pier 16 (Fulton and South Streets). Entry is free and includes access to the ship’s outdoor areas, including the main deck (via stairs and an angled gangway) and raised rear deck (accessible via ladder-type stairs).

A. sent this drawing of Charles Lewis Tiffany’s first store, when it was located at the corner of Broadway and Warren in 1837. It moved to the corner of Chambers in 1847, then to Broadway between Spring and Price in 1853, Union Square and 15th in 1870, Fifth Avenue and 37th in 1902 (after his death) and finally, in 1940, to Tiffany’s current location at 727 Fifth.
