MIRIAM WILL SEAT INSIDE + BEER/WINE
Homemade by Miriam, the takeout Mediterranean food spot at 88 West Broadway (and sister restaurant to 1803), got the go-ahead for a liquor license from CB1 for a beer and wine license, and they will add 16 seats (8 tables) inside. The restaurant will have counter service only and will be open from 7a to 9p, along with its curbside setup. They opened in July 2020.
HOTEL BARRIERE WILL FORM WORKING GROUP
The Hotel Barriere on Greenwich and Desbrosses is forming a working group with neighbors and as a starter, will give people an in-person tour of the restaurant and the bars, finishing the tour on the roof. The goal is to meet in the first week in October and then present the application for the liquor licenses to CB1 in November. If you want in on the plans, contact Matt Viggiano at matt@kasirer.nyc
GIGINO WILL BE BACK SOON!
Not to panic: Gigino is making a repair to their custom exhaust fan and hopefully will back open in a couple weeks. (Really, if you are a restaurant owner these days, it never ends.) Everything is delayed these days, Julia noted. If you need a fix, they are still doing GrubHub delivery from the Wagner Park restaurant.
