Orlando Bloom’s former apartment in Taylor Swift’s building at 155 Franklin sold for $7 million and change, according to the Post. Orlando Bloom owned it in 2014, when he bought it for $4.75 million before flipping it less than a year later for $5.6 million.

I mention this since I think it’s worth tracking these *not* Airbnb Airbnbs — this one is WhyHotel, which has taken over 200 units at 110 Wall Street. The Real Deal reports that it is not just for short-term rentals, but also long-term residents in the full furnished apartments. The building was previously the site of the now shuttered WeLive — WeWork’s co-living business launched in 2016.

TRIBECA GRILL ON WINE INVENTORIES
The wine director at Tribeca Grill — Vincent D’Aquila — explained how restaurants are now keeping shorter wine lists and in some cases sold their inventory during the pandemic. Tribeca Grill did not sell its 2,000-selection cellar and is relying on existing inventory. “The purchases I make are more focused on filing specific holes in the list as they arise, rather than fleshing out a category that already has significant representation or a developing a new category that may be a bit esoteric for our average client,” D’Aquila says. “We always need to have several selections of Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir from California under $200.” — Wine Industry Advisor
