DINE AROUND ON TUESDAY IN FIDI
Dine Around Downtown, the Downtown Alliance’s 25-year-old food festival of local restaurants, is rain or shine on Tuesday, June 7, from 11a to 3p at Fosun Plaza — the former Chase Manhattan Plaza. (Liberty & Pine, William & Nassau) There are 35 restaurants participating (including Manhatta, Harry’s, Malibu Farm, Benares, Eataly) and the cost is $5 to $9 for a sample signature dish. For food purchases, cash is generally accepted and ATMs are located nearby the plaza.

WINE & CARROTS AT JUNGSIK
Jungsik has just reopened its nine-seat bar since the pandemic, and now has a small a la carte menu that allows folks to have wine by the glass, cocktails and sample the restaurant’s tasting menu. And the piece de resistance: The Carrot — carrot cake with cream cheese mousse and pecan praline, encased in white chocolate and painted by pastry chef Yoonjung Oh to look like…a carrot. The bar can be booked for parties up to three.

SAIL FROM THE SEAPORT
The South Street Seaport Museum just launched its sailing season for the 1885 schooner Pioneer and the 1930 tugboat W.O. Decker. The season runs through Oct. 30 and boats leave from Pier 16. Ticket sales available at seaportmuseum.org/sailnyharbor.

PEFORMANCES AT THE BATTERY THIS WEEKEND
This Friday (June 3) and Saturday (June 4), The Battery will host performances by Parsons Dance, with 60 student dancers from Ballet Tech, the NYC Public School for Dance, and 100 hand-crafted aerial puppets. The dance – titled “About Sprouts” – explores the park’s innovative new Playscape. Following its premiere weekend, Playscape Performs will offer free shows and performances the first weekend of each month, July through September.
