UNIONS PROTEST QUEENS PROJECT
E. sent pics of a noisy protest yesterday that was going before 8a and still going strong at 3p. The project was designed by Bjarke Ingels Group and is being built by Leeding Builders Group and scheduled to be done in 2023.

it’s a shame that robert deniro wastes his talent on all these business ventures. he’s been doing this for decades while his acting career fades away.
Unfortunately, if you go anywhere in the city, you’ll see construction workers not speaking English and wearing hard hats belonging to union workers. A friend who’s in construction told me this goes on constantly. There’s no way they took OSHA classes and pay union dues. I’m pro union 100%.
DOB enforces OSHA training requirements any time they visit a site, so maybe these workers took their OSHA classes in Spanish. If they do not belong to a union, they do not pay part of their hard-earned wages as union dues.
