MILLE VIGNES FROM A LOCAL SOMMELIER
Pascaline Lepeltier, the somm and owner of Chambers, has just released a book on wines and vines. Unfortunately (for me at least) it’s in French, but if you are bilingual in that particular way, the restaurant has some copies for sale. Here’s the translation: Mille vignes deciphers the vine, the landscapes and the wine by offering keys to understanding the links between the bottle, the tasting and the people, the terroirs and the vineyards that generated them. Through the most recent scientific knowledge in botany, geography, climatology, anthropology or even neuro-physiology and contemporary experiences in vineyards around the world, it dusts off received ideas about the vine, inviting you to taste the wine of tomorrow.”

WF STICKER SHOCK
